Refund a Membership Payment

You can follow the steps below to refund a membership payment:
  1. Go to MembershipWorks > All Accounts and click on a member's account.
  2. Click the Membership Payment entry in the member's timeline.
  3. Click the Refund button at the bottom of the payment details box
  4. Select either Partial refund or Issue full refund from the pop-up menu. If you select Partial refund, enter the amount you would like to refund.
  5. Click Refund to confirm
The member will be refunded on the same card they used for the membership payment and they will receive an automatic email letting them know they've been refunded.
