Approve Board Listings

If you want an admin to approve job, announcement, or classified ad listings before they are posted, you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to MembershipWorks > Jobs/Other Boards and click on the applicable board on the right.
  2. Click the Settings link at the top.
  3. Go to the section titled Creating Listings.
  4. Next to Approval, check the box next to require admin approval to display.
  5. Next to Notify email(s), enter the email address(es) you would like to be notified when a new listing is posted. If you are entering multiple email addresses, separate them by a comma with no space between the comma and the email addresses.
  6. Click Save at the bottom of this section.
To approve the listing:
  1. Go to MembershipWorks > Jobs/Other Boards and click on the applicable board on the right.
  2. On the Board’s Dashboard, you will see a listing with a Status that is pending.



  3. Click the magnifying glass icon to the right of the listing title to view the listing.
  4. Click the check box next to the listing to approve it and make it active.
  5. The Confirmation When Listing Activated email will be sent to the listing poster so that they know it is approved.
